The Sanity-2 Respiratory Pathogen Panel (RPP17) is intended for qualitative testing of 17 kinds of clinically common respiratory pathogens in nasopharyngeal swab, oropharyngeal swab and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid, including:

Principle

The kit applies fluorescence PCR melting curve method to design primers and probes according to the specific sequence of the pathogen. The detection results are determined according to the Tm value of the melting curve in FAM, HEX, ROX and CY5 channel. A human gene internal control (RNaseP gene) is added to the system for the quality control of extraction and amplification process.
