Lab-Aid 896 is designed for the extraction and purification of nucleic acids from various medical and biological samples. The system operates using a 96-tube cartridge mode and is equipped with functions such as heating, UV disinfection, and negative pressure within the extraction chamber, enabling it to process 1 to 96 samples in a single run.

The instrument features a short extraction time, high extraction efficiency, and a high level of automation. It is compatible with various nucleic acid extraction kits that use magnetic beads. The intelligently designed process is completely controlled by software, which automatically completes the nucleic acid isolation and purification process, saving time and effort for laboratory technicians and simplifying the nucleic acid extraction procedure. The system can be widely used in fields such as clinical gene research, molecular biology experiments, and forensic expertise.

The instrument consists of mechanical components (including a vibration module, magnetic rod module, magnetic rod sleeve module, and compartment entrance and exit door modules) and electrical components (including a control module and a heating module).
