The instrument is composed of mechanical parts (including a vibration module, magnetic rod module, magnetic rod sleeve module, and compartment entrance and exit door modules) and electrical parts (including a control module and a heating module).
Principle
The magnetic rod used in the extraction module of the instrument is a permanent magnet, which drives the movement of the magnetic rod frame and the magnetic rod sleeve via mechanical transmission. The up-and-down movement of the magnetic rod sleeve ensures that the sample is uniformly mixed, lysed, bound, washed, and eluted with the appropriate nucleic acid extraction kit that employs the magnetic bead method. The transfer of magnetic beads and magnetic bead-target complexes is achieved through the coordinated movement of the magnetic rod and the magnetic rod sleeve. By separating the magnetic rod from the magnetic rod sleeve, the release of magnetic beads and magnetic bead-target complexes can be accomplished.
In conjunction with the relevant nucleic acid extraction kit that utilizes the magnetic bead method, the nucleic acid extraction system can execute the corresponding software program and automatically complete the isolation and purification process of nucleic acids. This automation streamlines the workflow and enhances the efficiency of nucleic acid extraction, making it a valuable tool for molecular biology laboratories.
